Summer Recipes

Because it's the weekend...

and because I really love you guys.

Here's a couple of yummy summer recipes that I've made this week!

Brooke's Guacamole:

This is my 12-year old sister's guacamole recipe

yes she made it up herself.

yes she is awesome.

I can honestly say...I've never found a better recipe.

It's easy peasy,

just mash up the avocados and mix it all together. What do you get?

Mexican deliciousness.

Go make some,

right now.

 avocado

10 cherry tomatoes- quartered
1 green onion (1 used 1/4 of a small red onion)
crushed red peppers to taste
salt to taste
1 lime
cilantro to taste

Peach Granita:

Alright, I had some ripe peaches

and it's been really hot

so....

this is what I came up with!

It is seriously easy, and so delicious.

Just peel and dice the two peaches then throw 'em in the blender with the lemon juice and sugar

(if your peaches aren't as big as mine don't be afraid to cut down on the sugar. You want to keep the integrity of that peach flavor!)

Place the peach deliciousness in a pan and put it in the freezer

then wait a few hours...

take it out and scrape the pan with a fork.

then put it back in the freezer

 repeat 2-3 times

serve with a slice of lemon and enjoy a cool summer treat!

2 ripe peaches
1/2 lemon- juiced
1/4 cup of sugar

Happy Weekend!
