Today...Kylie aka the girl everyone wishes they could be!

Buenos dias! My name is Kylie from the blog Spencer and Kylie

We met in college in the dead of winter and I was immediately obsessed. Spencer is a sweetheart. At first he was really shy and out of my league (he's got 5 years on lil me, and is smoking hot). Somehow I convinced him to take me on a first date and a year later we were married. We knew as soon as we ended up together that we were going places.

From day one our marriage has been spent exploring, traveling, and having adventures. We honeymooned in Costa Rica and moved to China within the first month of marriage. We lived in Asia for 6 months teaching English, backpacked Southeast Asia for 1 month, and thereafter relocated to Hawaii. It really has been a dream - and everything has happened for a reason, often which is not necessarily a part of any specific plan.

Our time spent abroad is not merely just to travel - but primarily to serve. We are always looking for volunteer opportunities that allow us to use our creative skills to benefit people in some way. We recently moved from Peru to Ecuador, where we are filming and photographing humanitarian projects for various Non-Government Organizations. Our videos and photos will be used to help market, advertise, and spread the word for these organizations who are striving to make a difference and improve people's lives in South America. It has been incredibly rewarding to see individuals, families and communities transform with the help of a few willing hands.

I highly recommend getting out of your comfort zone and volunteering abroad to do a little more than just explore. As Mother Teresa once said, "If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one." No matter how small, the things you do make the world of a difference.

Ciao, and don't forget to hop over to my blog and say hello!
Kylie
