in which my husband bought a motorcycle.

he did it. he got a motorcycle.

and save your words of warning and horrific stories,

rest assured we've heard our fill!

though it does make me a tad nervous...I have to say he does looks pretty sexy (sorry Mom)

It was purchased in the name of a smaller gas bill and putting off a 2nd car for Steve's job.

but we all know all boys have a small place in their soul that will always want a motorcycle!

(disclaimer: he does wear a helmet, this was just a picture I made him sit and take!)

  5. Awesome. I know you said not to tell you, but my husband got hit on his scooter like a month and a half ago, and scraped up pretty bad. Unfortunately we still haven't finished everything with the insurance claim.

Bullet bikes are scary though, cause they think they can do whatever they want. I'm glad he wears a helmet. And its definitely an awesome way to save gas money. Hope he got his motorcycle license and hope he is safe!

  6. look at you two scallywags! gonna be zipping around town on a hot red bike:-) LOVE it. I grew up with motorcycles, so they don't scare me. {Only stupid people on motorcycles scare me} xoxo

  8. He totally reminds me of Mathew in how to lose a guy in 10 days.

  9. While my husband will never be allowed to own one after too many hours spent volunteering in ICU- my brother rode his year round in Utah and saved a TON of gas money. It can definitely be done in the snow!

  12. My husband has a motorcycle and its one of the best purchases we have ever made. He bought his first one last year and then upgraded for a sexier one this year. His mother and grandmother don't like that he has one at all. But we love it. We love to ride it all over the place. Once we buy a sissy-bar for it we will be taking it for over night trips. Plus there is nothing better than riding on the back and just letting the wind whoosh passed you, unless you are driving it yourself. So splurge on yourself as well. Get a helmet and an awesome bike jacket as well and go crusing with him. Makes for some awesome dates. Plus the gas on those suckers are cheap. I wish we lived in a all year summer kinda place because I would just sell my car and get a bike myself. Have fun and be safe.

  13. Nice. You BETTER wear a helmet Steve! I'll spare you the stories Pete has told me of people he has seen at the hospital... We were very close to getting a little moped before we had a second car... cheaper and an easy way to commute, like you said. Just be safe :) Love you guys!
