DIY Winter Crown

I made this winter crown for a holiday party we went to over the weekend. The instructions were to wear something festive and fancy and well, I like to do these things right. It was easier than I thought it would be! Here's what you need:

-floral wire (I got mine at JoAnn)

-wire cutters

-scissors

-hot glue

-pine bush branches (cut long ones, it makes it easier to weave)

-red berries (optional)

Measure the floral wire around your head + a couple extra inches and cut it with your wire cutters.

Form the wire around your head leaving a little room (for the pine) and twist the extra bit around itself at the end.

weave the pine branches around your wire- this is easier than it sounds- and hot glue at various places to keep it in place. I glued only at the front and back!

clip the pine where it stands up and awkward angles

glue your red berries scattered throughout

Viola. There you have it. The end product should be as festive and Father Christmasy as your little heart could desire!

Happy Christmas.
