Scenes from a Snowy Christmasy Boston Weekend

Ok. It's FREEZING. But you'd have to be a pretty hard core Scrooge not to admit that Christmas time + snow = pretty magical. We got totally dumped on this weekend and this fair weather girl isn't even complaining about it. I wish we had a video of Clara's reaction to the snow. Every time we'd walk outside she'd look up, throw her hands up, scrunch up her face and laugh hysterically. One of the my favorite things about being a parent is re-discovering the magic of the world through her eyes.

On Saturday we went downtown with the intention of walking around a Christmas market and spending time basking under the Christmas tree on the Common but once we were finished with lunch the frigid temperatures convinced us otherwise. We settled for a drive around Beacon Hill in the flurries instead and gosh it's just Christmas-time perfection over there right now.

Happy Monday!

  1. The velvet dress! A little big (sorry about that) but oh my gosh she's awesome. Also no more snaggle tooth! They are looking pretty even!

Love you guys to the moon and back.

  2. Oh my gosh, those pictures of Boston in the snow are beautiful! I've never experienced a white Christmas and it's very "un-Christmasy" here in SoCal at a ripe sunny and 74 degree high today. Happy Christmas to you and your family and Watson too!

  3. Yay! I see you made it to Congress St (that white building in your pic is my studio ;) So glad you got to Beacon Hill in the snow too...I've been keeping an eye out for Christmas house tours! How magical would that be?

Merry Christmas to you and your lil family!

    1. no way Julia!! Steve and I went to Sportello for lunch- it's one of our Boston faves!! We need to meet up down there some time!
